Produção científica e estrutura temática da pesquisa sobre Canabidiol na Doença de Alzheimer
implicações para ciência e inovação em Saúde

A doença de Alzheimer (DA) é a principal causa de demência e apresenta limitações terapêuticas relevantes. Paralelamente, o canabidiol (CBD) tem sido investigado como potencial alternativa devido, principalmente, às suas propriedades antioxidantes, anti-inflamatórias e moduladoras do sistema colinérgico. Nesse contexto, o presente estudo realizou uma análise bibliométrica para mapear a evolução científica das pesquisas sobre CBD na DA. Foram identificados 775 trabalhos publicados entre 1994 e 2026, que permitiram a identificação do crescimento progressivo, internacionalização e consolidação temática. A análise indica amadurecimento científico do campo e aponta para o fortalecimento de abordagens terapêuticas emergentes.
