Resumo

Este estudo analisa a atenção altmétrica recebida por artigos científicos sobre COVID-19 que foram retratados, buscando compreender como esses trabalhos continuam a circular e a gerar engajamento em ambientes digitais, mesmo após a correção do registro científico. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de natureza quantitativa e exploratória, baseada em dados do Retraction Watch e de fontes altmétricas, com ênfase na persistência da visibilidade pública. Os resultados indicam que a retratação não implica, necessariamente, a redução da atenção online, evidenciando tensões entre integridade científica, circulação digital e métricas alternativas.
